Data Retention & Deletion Policy

At Auxano, we believe your financial data belongs to you. We do not store your actual financial information (such as account numbers, balances, or transaction details) on our servers.
The only data we retain are encrypted Plaid access tokens that allow the app to connect to your chosen financial institutions.
What We Store
- Acess tokens that enable you to connect your bank or financial institution accounts to Auxano.
- Basic account metadata required to provide our service (e.g., institution name, connection status).
We do not store your financial account numbers, credentials, or transaction history.
How Long We Keep Data
Access tokens are stored only as long as your account remains active or until you choose to remove them.
If you disconnect a financial institution within the app, the associated access tokens are immediately deleted.
Your Right to Delete
- You can remove connected institutions (and their access tokens) directly in the app at any time.
- Upon receiving a request, we will delete all related access tokens from our servers within 7 business days
- You can also request deletion of all stored tokens by contacting us at support@auxanoapp.com
Account Deletion
If you choose to close your Auxano account, all associated access tokens and account data will be permanently deleted.
